i've visited steuben's on several different occasions and am glad to report that it's both classy and classic. i've felt comfortable dining out here in a tee-shirt and jeans as well as when all dolled up for a proper night out on the town. \r
the food is perfect in it's simplicity and presentation, the staff is lighthearted and professional and the atmosphere is sleek and timeless. \r
'they' seem to have thought of everything; a seperate gluten allergy menu for my sister visiting from out of town was new and noticed and appreciated. \r
i recommend this place for those weekenders who are out to relax and have a good time without any time constraints. on busy nights you can expect to wait about half an hour for a table and the wait for food might be equivalent. my friends and i have found the 1940's inspired cocktail menu, the tatooed cuties at the bar and the bustling servers to be a lovely distraction inbetween. the dinner menu alone has sparked quite a few entertaining conversations about whose mom made the best meatloaf to first kisses and more.\r
i hope you find this sparkley and new uptown venture to be as befitting of it's image and mission as i have.\r
\r
hints: we've always asked our server what they last ordered to eat here and have never been disappointed with their indirect recommendation. trust us, try it!\r
\r
Pros: a down home menu (no matter where in the US you may call 'home)
Cons: due to popularity you might have to wait a while for a table and the food
