My experiences with the staff of Dr. Vernon's office have been a mixed bag. HOWEVER:\r
- several years ago, Dr. Vernon noticed I was at risk for diabetes and offered me a test. Turns out I did have Type II diabetes and didn't realize it. She put me on her low carb diet. I lost 40 lbs and control my diabetes without insulin.\r
- last year, Dr. Vernon refused to let me have a diabetes check-up unless I had a complete physical first. PITA, right? Well, the physical led her to recommend I see a specialist, and turns out I had endometrial cancer. It was caught early, I was treated, and now I am statistically close to 100% cancer free. I am SO GLAD that Dr. Vernon is my doctor!
Pros: incredible doctor, fantastic for diabetes patients
Cons: office staff is so-so; a mixed bag
