Review content:
I've been eating at Thompson Bros for at least the past 1.5 years. I wish that I would have tried it sooner. I actually think that I've become somewhat of a ""BBQ snob"" because of it. I find myself disappointed at most every other restaurant whose BBQ I sample. I dine out 100% of the time (unless you count the once or twice a month I have cereal at home). So I am no stranger to dining out...and my expectations are high - I've been known to speak to a manager, leave a comment card or send in a letter or two because of poor service or quality of food. And I can say with confidence that the food at Thompson Brothers tastes fantastic (I've tried everything on the menu). I highly recommend the ribs, chopped pork, chopped beef and the chicken...but you can't really go wrong...the smoked beef sausage is good if you're looking for something a little different. As for the sides...I LOVE the baked beans! The mac & cheese is great too, but I usually try to order the greens - gotta get my veggies. OKAY...so I feel as if I'm rambling at this point, but I would leave you with these parting words...just give them a try and I bet you'll be a repeat customer. I recommend it to all of my friends and family (when they are in town). Enjoy! Pros: Quality & taste of the food, friendly service Cons: Sometimes very busy at lunch...but would you want to go to a place that wasn't?
