When I took my sick & dying hamster there they were very sensitive about it. He died there, and they had him cremated for me. They explained that there wasn't anything I could have done differerently for him and his demise was not my fault. They respected that a little guy like a hamster has a personality & people really care about even tiny pets. (I still don't understand why you can't take a hamster to a ""small animal"" veterinarian LOL!) \r
...edited to add that after a bad experience in Muncie with some sick dogs I have transferred my surviving dogs here. Dr. Smith is very knowledgeable and keeps up with new research. He answers my questions and he has kept my two geriatric dogs in great condition. Some vets around here blow off the older pets as just ""old"" and don't bother diagnosing their problems, but Dr. Smith takes my guys' health and comfort seriously. One time they couldn't squeeze in my suddenly sick dog on a Saturday so I went to Northwood to start a treatment for him. They didn't take that personally at all. I wish I'd found this practice when I first moved here!\r

If your pet is getting older and your vet doesn't seem up to keeping them happy healthy and comfortable I suggest switching to this practice.
Pros: Not too expensive
Cons: (I've only been there once)
