Review content:
I have patronized this establishment for several years now but of late I have noticed the cuisine here has been taken to another level. Take, for example, my dinner the other night: to start, shrimp tostaditos beautifully aligned on an elegant platter, so simple yet packed with flavor (there's more to the avocado than meets the eye here), a simple homemade corn tamale drizzled with what the server explained was in-house herb-infused honey. Delicious, I would come back for that alone and order it with a nice glass of their verdejo. As my main I opted for the seafood moqueca, another unique treat, unlike any i'd had before, with a velvety broth sprinkled with peanuts for depth of flavor, and seafood both sauteed and seemingly chargrilled for an unexpected and delightful range of textures. I will even be bringing my picky mother-in-law (she's from the City) here because I know she will love it.
Pros: outstanding food
