Review content:
I made reservations for Easter Dinner. Had people coming in from out of town and wanted to show off The Levee Cafe, because it used to be great! Not anymore. Even with reservations we waited close to half an hour. They were serving a buffet although they hadn't told us this when we made our reservations. The food was what you would get at any Eat N'Run type of place. The service was non-existant. Horribly overcrowded. The people at the tables around us were grumbling and complaining. I saw the greeter chewed out for the long wait. The manager was hiding in the back. It was a disaster. Then the bill came Over $15.00 a person for a mediocre buffet of scrambled eggs and soggy french toast. It's too bad since this used to be such a terrific place. I saw one family all dressed up with an elderly man in a wheelchair that they had to stick this poor old guy in the bar area since there was no room to move in the dining room. I felt so sorry for them. Pretty much a complete disappointment all around. Small town courtesy and service is apparently a thing of the past. Too bad. Pros: Location Cons: Whoever is now running the place has ruined it
