I know Castle Rock isn't a metropolitan mecca, but that's no excuse for a mediocre restaurant. For an appetizer, we ordered the calamari - pretty typical, like something you'd find at a chain restaurant, but with sub-par sauces. I ordered the scallops for my entree, they were overcooked and chewy. The pizza that my friend ordered was good, but there are many good pizza places in Castle Rock. Most of the menu items were stuffed with some kind of heavy cheese/mushroom combination...just sounded really heavy and rich. Not my kind of place. Service was okay, way below par for the price of food and drinks.
