Review content:
The Hostess & busboy? slapped around each other with a towel, giggling & acting sophomoric as our party were seated, this was startling & unprofessional! The Hostess refused to take a request that there was a birthday person at the table. No birthday singing for us. There are supposed to be free refills on drinks but if you cannot hunt down your Server who keeps saying, ""I'll be right there"" & not coming back, it is hard to have the 2nd drink. There was NOT a large crowd, many tables/booths open, no excuse for the bad service. The rolls were brought to the table cold, the margarine would not melt on cold/room temp. rolls. Then came the Entree's, hot but salty, swimming in a sauce so overwhelming & WHERE was the rice pilaf that supposedly came with this dish? The steak tips themselves were good, but the sauce salty & TOO much of this saucey mess on the plate & NO rice pilaf made for a miserable meal. If there had been rice it may have all evened itself out. When asking the Server to please correct the rice mistake she paused promising to fix the mistake, never returning. After 45 minutes of additional waiting we paid & just left, one could make rice at home faster! We paid $50 for this poor excuse of a meal that we did not get to enjoy. You should not leave a restaurant hungry. When bringing up to the Hostess again about the birthday she forthrightly said, ""Well, that's not my job, tell your Server"" dismissing our request & turned away! The Server was unavailable to tell this to as already stated, how could we reach this woman who was avoiding us? Was it too much to ask for a happy birthday song & piece of pie, or the rice pilaf that was supposed to come with the meal we paid for, or a refill on lemonade? Big mistake on the Hostess part for if that complimentary song and piece of pie actually shown at our table an entire pie would have been ordered to take home. We expected more from a Franklin, TN - Williamson County, O'Charley's & will never attempt dining there again. A complete dining DISASTER! Pros: Scenic & Historical Area - Good Fried Cheese Triangles Cons: Bad Service, Food Missing from Plates, Not a good Value.
