In early August, Mark and his crew came over to our house and provided wonderful pulled pork sandwiches and turkey sandwiches with the perfect accompaniments for each type of sandwich, the tastiest baked beans ever and indescribable twice baked cheesy potatoes. Sort of like gourmet comfort food. I am not sure of the all the ingrediients used, but the flavor combination of the pulled pork and the strawberry habenaro suace was perfection. There really is no local restaurant to compare it to, because one doesn't exist in Austin (I haven't made it to Lambert's yet, but plan to soon--that might be the closest comparison). This was a casual business gathering with guests from all over the world along with some locals--everyone loved the food. Mark and his team were very professional and friendly, they were on time and did a fantastic job from set-up to clean-up. In large part, the party was a success because of them. Kudos to Mark and the Sugar Shack team!
