Review content:
When shopping for a crib for our baby, we wandered into small and poorly stocked store, but the thought of getting an environmentally clean crib appealed to us. We were offered a floor model at a discount. When asked whether they would be able to check if the crib is fully functional, the store, from what we understood, owner assured us the crib was fine. It was quite a bit worn and dusty, but with the discount we decided to wash the crib as the brand they claimed the crib was is well known for its quality. When examining the crib, we could not locate any sign of the brand it was claimed. We asked if any documentation of the brand would be evident, but the ""owner: assured us that all the cribs by this organic crib brand do not have any brand signs or documentation. We are pressed for time so we decided to buy it. The ""owner"" and us agreed on the price and we were to come back the next day to get the crib (which was quite pricey, much more than most cribs out there). When we arrived the next day, we were ready to buy the crib and since buying it as is without a warranty, we did not want it taken apart as it was assembled on the floor. The store owner offered us a delivery to our location less than 2 miles away from store at $75. We were quite taken aback--after all we were paying top dollar for a no warranty store model of the crib. In a few minutes another person claiming to be the owner called the store and informed us that this crib, which we made the deal on a day before, was already sold a week ago. He refused to give his name or the name of the other ""owner"", claiming that he has no idea who we are and there are no other owners of the store.
If you don't want to be ripped off, lied to, and abused try some other store--there is plenty of organic baby furniture stores in the neighbourhood
