My husband and I dined here for our aniversary. When we entered the restaraunt both the manager and host greested us, the manager said that it would be just a moment as he sent the hostess to set us up a booth, which was appreciated since this is what we would prefer. About 5 minutes later we were seated by the hostess at a table, not a booth. The hostess replaced my white linen napkin with a black one, as I was wearing a black skirt, what a nice touch and great way to add that little extra. Our server Alberto promtly greeted us and gave us an overview of the wine list and menu. A lady who was the service assistant quickly brought us water, bread, and a small relish tray. We ordered escargot as an appetizer, it was just okay, a lttle bland. I ordered the Salmon Oscar and my husband ordered the stuffed Louisana Redfish and a side of Asparagus to share. Our entrees were delivered to our table and our first bites were delicious and the asparagus was the biggest we had had ever seen. As we began to eat our entrees my husbands first 5 bites all had scale and bones in it. He would have delt with 1 or 2 but when you pay $30-$40 dollars for a peice of fish you would expect not to find any. So he told Alberto who quickly returned it and spoke with the Manager. The Manager did what I would call a ""walk by"" table visit and stated that sometimes this happens as the fish really is fresh and then appologized as he walked away. I finished my entree with only 2 bites that also had scales and shared a few bites with my husband. About 15 minutes later my husbands new entree was delivered, this time with no scales or bone. Overall the experience was good, the entress really were delicious and the service from both Alberto and the assistant was impeccable. We were just annoyed with the laziness of the prep work and with us having to eat our dinner seperatley. I thought that at least dessert or a round of cocktails would have been offered by the manager for this inconvenience. Pros: Service and flavor of food Cons: bones and scales found in a $40 entreee, managment
