Review content:
We had been taking our Akita, Lilly to these vets for about a year and a half before she began to have seizures. Their diagnosis was to let them come and go but if they got worse or more frequent we would have to put her on daily meds. Unfortunately they began to get worse and she was put on daily med, Dr. Chris (homeopathic vet) started working there and Lilly was becoming spacey and lethargic. I went to her for a more holistic approach, she suggested these Chinese herb pills, gave Lilly the pills and within an hour she had 2 seizures, I called the vet frantic and no one would speak to me and the Dr. would not be in until later that day. Lilly had another seizure by the time the Dr. called me back, she was now in danger of permanent brain damage and they could not fit us in until tomorrow but if she had another seizure then she would need to be rushed in immediately. My boss was nice enough to let me bring her to work and she had a seizure at 9:00am, I rushed her to the emergency room and $950 later they did not know why she was having the seizures and she worse than ever. Lilly did not know who we were, she cowered when we came home, I would pet her and she would run away, it was the most tragic thing that had happened to our little family. That was the day we lost our Lilly, within 4 months we put her down because of the numerous seizures she was having every day. The meds that that Dr. prescribed killed our girl and my husband and I will never forgive ourselves for ever taking her there. These vets want money and do not care out the animals, anything to get you coming back for more treatment or vaccines.
Pros: Close to our home
Cons: Sad place for animals
