I recently completed a cross country move (Boston to Portland) and used World Wide Van Lines. I had gotten quotes from 2 of the other large companies and the World Wide Quote was the least expensive. I got them to give me a guaranteed not to exceed quote which saved me hundreds of dollars in the end because they underestimated the weight of my shipment. But to make a long story short, I was VERY pleased. They were very responsive and very understanding of my paranoia. (I actually began to weigh each box myself on my bathroom scale to make sure that I wasn't getting cheated). The packers were phenomenal and the men who delivered my items in Oregan were also phenomenal. I have unpacked about half of my items (most of my fragile items have been unpacked) and everything is in the same condition in which I shipped it. I must say that I am a bit neurotic and I packed everything myself (very well!). But, they charged me what they quoted me. My stuff was picked up and delivered on time (actually, the moving guys were about 1.5 hours late on pick up--but quickly made up for their tardiness). I was very pleased. I was so skeptical after reading so many reviews of moving companies--but I must say that World Wide Van Lines truly made this process bearable (and even pleasant). I want to give a special thanks to the customer service department which really made me feel inportant giving me the attention I deserved when I called. Thank you World Wide Van Lines!
