I usually do not hire moving companies due to past experiences. However, my recent move was just entirely too much for me to handle so I was forced to hire a company. I did extensive research on line and after going to all the review sites I read great reviews about World Wide Van Lines so I decided to give them a chance. Saying that I was pleasantly surprised would be an understatement. They were awesome! Everyone was friendly and helpful from the moving consultant to the dispatchers to the customer service girls they really went above and beyond to make my move great. They picked up and dropped off my stuff on-time, and were a lot cheaper then I was expecting to pay. Polite and courteous staff members and the guys on the truck were fast super fast if I did it my self I would probably still be packing nothing was damaged either which was another concern of mine . I will definitely be giving them a call if I need to move again. They were well worth the price everything was great from start to finish. Thank you form a very picky and satisfied customer. more

I recently moved from Seattle to Van Nuys. I was scheduled to move on Saturday, and the Thursday before the company that I had hired originally called & cancelled. I found World Wide Van Lines on the internet and gave them a call. The person I spoke with on the phone was very friendly and helpful, as was every other employee of theres that I encountered. They helped me meet my deadline, and did a great job...and for less than my original moving company! Simply put: they were awesome. They gave me the lowest price out of the final 5 companies that I narrowed my list down to. They were all extremely polite through out the whole process, arrived everywhere on-time, and did not damage or lose any of my stuff. I'm very glad I decided to go with them & easily give them a 5 star rating. more

I need to agree with other reviews on this site regarding this company their positive experience was the same as mine. I got quotes from other ""top"" moving companies and their rates were double. World Wide Van Lines was professional, reliable and great to work with. This is the first time I got movers and I was annoyed at how expensive some of the other quotes were and how unrealistic some other quotes were( they were just too cheap made me scared). Thankfully I relied on my research through review sites like this one and called up for a quote. It was affordable and stress-free. They were flexible with the amount of boxes I expected to have and they were polite at all times. The movers arrived on time, did their job and left without incident. They worked hard and never came across as threatening or sketchy. The customer service staff was a delight to work with never giving me an attitude and answering all my questions without any hesitation. I never write reviews but I felt this company deserved the praise. I highly recommend world wide van lines. more

I am very happy to share my moving experience with world wide van lines. I was referred to world wide van lines by a friend who moved with them as well. At the beginning I was worried because I have heard many bad things form people who used moving companies in the past , but at the end I found that there was nothing to worry about if you made the best choice for a moving company ofcoarse easier said then done it is imperative for anyone to do there research before choosing any company, and in the internet age it is pretty easy to do your homework so no excuses. The crew that moved me was fantastic. I was very satisfied for the efforts put forth by these two wonderful young men came on time intruduced themselfes and got right to work the driver ted explained everything to me very clearly. There were no hidden fees and they asked me before they did any extra services that cost money. I paid whatever I had to and I was aware of everything form start to finish which was a big relief for me. The guys were very organized, clean, polite and carefull with my belingings. world wide van lines made it real easy for me. The customer service staff was great and were always available to answer my questions which was again another big relief for me. Fortun atly for me there was no damages from the move which was another concern of mine all in all the experience was great and like my riend before me I will be recommending World Wide Van Lines to others. more

I used World Wide Van Lines this spring to move from Beach Lake, PA all the way out to San Diego, CA. My moving consultant, Blake, was phenomenal. He helped me every step of the way to such detail that there were no hidden fees like every other moving company out there and he really treated me with kindness and respect. the moving process was worry free they were polite and respectful all the way throught the move the customer service dept was great every time we called they picked up the phone and when they did not have answers at that moment they got the answers and called us back keeping us in the loop all the way form start to finish. It took an extra day to be delivered, but for the service I was provided everything came in 1 piece and I was satisfied. 5 STARS!!! more

We move a lot for our jobs and I think that World Wide Van Lines is the best we've used. I've used 4-5 different moving companies over the past 10 years for both my home and business. World Wide Van Lines moving will be my only call from now on and my only referral to friends and family. Kevin and his staff are great and you will feel like you have known World Wide Van Lines your whole life. My parents had a pretty large move last year and had used World Wide Van Lines to help them with their move. They had nothing but great things to say about them when I needed a recommendation. There are a lot of moving companies, but save your self the time, stress, and other headaches by calling this company. I was tense about our move to Washington; Talk about sleepless in Seattle! I wasn’t even there yet and I was having sleepless nights!. The first thing I did was try to find a trustworthy moving company. I consulted with my friends and relatives, searched for moving companies online and also contacted few of the local movers. Every moving company promises to be the best, so I was in a fix. All of us worked to get quotes from here and there; At some point I seriously thought I had what it took to be a representative for one of these companies. At last we decided to go with World Wide Van Lines. There was no specific reason as to why did we chose them but I was glad we did. They helped me with my packing and also provided some preparatory tips. On the final moving day they were 10 minutes early and carried out the moving process efficiently. I got what I was looking for. I recommend them for their professional moving service. I cannot tell you that it was a picnic but when you compare it to other moving experiences, it was good. There is not a single reason for not recommending them. more

After speaking with several companies by phone, I decided to hire world wide van lines . I see that there are some negative reviews on here, but I was honestly very pleased with their services! We were moving everything from a 3-bedroom apartment and a 10X20 storage unit to a 5 bedrooms house. I had 4 movers come to my apartment on Monday to pack. World Wide Van Lines were finished packing EVERYTHING in a few hours!!! I felt that the price was very reasonable for that service as well. On Tuesday, two trucks were scheduled to complete my move. One truck with 3 movers came to load up the apartment. The other truck with 3 movers went to load up the storage unit. Even though it was pouring down rain, the movers safely loaded everything from both locations onto the trucks! All the workers that helped me were very polite and helpful. My parents were there to help me, and they agreed that the movers were very friendly and helpful. They carried everything in and arranged it how I asked for them to. I could not have asked for a better experience thank you world wide more

World Wide Van Lines is a top notch moving company with outstanding employees. It is very impressive that every employee- the receptionist, the warehouse workers, the sales person, the moving driver, and the mover --- provided excellent customer service. It felt like each person was totally accountable for their part of our move and they wanted to ensure our experience with them was above average. This is quite an achievement considering we moved at the end of May, which is a busy time for them. Our experience with movers is vast. After relocating with employers the past few moves, we were now moving without an employer’s expense account. We had three different moving companies located in the Bay area, come to our house to evaluate our possessions to be moved. The outcome was that World Wides price was lower then other reliable moving companies. More importantly, World Wide Van Lines was the most thorough in pointing out potential issues for us to think about in our move so we wouldn't deal with any unexpected costs. One additional benefit to using World Wide Van Lines is that the people were enjoyable to work with and provided timely service. more

My husband and I had a terrible time finding a reputable moving and storage company. We booked with three different companies, all of which were with terrible BBB record, before we came to the reviews website and decided on World Wide Van Lines. We ended up canceling with the other moving companies and calling World Wide Van Lines at the last minute. We were scheduled with the other moving company to move on June 1st. when they just didn’t arrived. When we called World Wide Van Lines (on June 1st) we were informed that the earliest we could move was today evening or tomorrow. We were fortunite that they took our booking at the last moment but I was still skeptical about moving companies at that point but decided to trust World Wide Van Lines based on the reviews from this website. I figured that they were probably going to be my best bet for a smooth move. I was right. From the time we first called World Wide Van Lines to the time that our stuff arrived at our doorstep in Memphis Tennessee (a full two days earlier than scheduled!) the moving process was worry free they were polite and respectful all the way throught the move the customer service dept was great every time we called they picked up the phone and when they did not have answers at that moment they got the answers and called us back keeping us in the loop all the way form start to finish. We are very happy with the service and we wanted to share it with all thank you World Wide. more

Before moving to New York I did extensive research in trying to find a moving company that I can trust..and at the end of my research I felt more confused than ever...I went on all mover review sites and u can never tell really if the company is good or not!!!! After all the searching ..I found that no company convinced me. really .. I felt that all were the same... but one day I got a call from world wide van lines asking if I wanted to do an items list so we went through the whole house and the garage it took over one hour but by the time I was done with the house Chad my moving consultant won me over with his attention to detail and polite courteous self very knowleagble and very honest....I basically got a great feeling about this company based on what Chad told me...I needed to trust and so I did and I must say that everything he told me was true... this company is very reliable ..my price did not change and bottom line..my goods were delivered in one piece !!!! I can’t complain..but praise the fact that I was skeptical because of all the stuff on the internet..but going through such a through list proved to me that they really cared and took pride in their work. Well I had to write this review for all the people that are in the same boat as I was...stop worrying world wide van lines did a fantastic job and I would totally recommend them more

I don’t know about you guys but there is nothing I hate more then moving. I thought I was imposable to have a move go smoothly based on my past experiences, however world wide van lines proved me wrong. I am not going to lie at first I was a little skeptical when I got their call ( to be frank I thought it was all a bunch of bs) But the lady on the phone Phindy was awesome she went through the whole house with me not rushing me once going thorough every inch of my house to provide me with the best and most acurate quote I could get She was great! She was kind, knowledge, precise, and very helpful all the things I was not expecting from a moving company. She really worked hard to get me a fair price and wonderful service. Overall the move went smoothly (all my stuff came on time and was in perfect condition.) If I do decide to move again hopefull I will stay put but if I do dicide to move I will defiantly use this company. more

Before my move I was so stressed out. I am sure you can all relate to the stress of finding a place, the fear of leaving what was once home, and the thousands of phone calls from every moving company trying to hook you into there ""wonderful"" deal. I was offered what seemed like millions of quotes from companies that did not even take the time to go over what I was infact moving, however, world wide van lines took that extra step. From the moment I picked up the phone this company was there to help me get through my move. The moving consultant Lance spent 40 minutes with me over the phone going over every inch of my house. He set a fair price, which was fixed, and did not increase on the day of the move. He really took the time to paint a picture of what my move would look like. He promised me that my price would not change, that the movers would be on time, that the movers would treat my belongings with care, and that i would get all my items in a timely fashion. Just as he promised all these things came true I was skeptical but he promised and delivered all that he promised a special thank you Lance. I highly recommend this company. to all and anyone that wants to move. Thank you more

We moved from California to Maryland with World Wide Van Lines and we could not have picked a better moving company. The sales staff was very knowledgeable and answered all my questions the customer service staff was also very attentive to my needs since this was a cross country move I was a little nervous. The movers were very friendly and attentive to all our needs. All our things were delivered in their original state. The movers arrived to our new place in Maryland earlier than we did and waited for more than two hours for us to get to Maryland. When we got there we had to store some of our things in a storage room close to our place and the movers even helped us arrange and rearrange items in the storage room so we can fit everything that needed to be stored. After we finished at the storage we went to unload the rest of the truck in our house, they handled all of my items with care and did their job quietly and quickly with no damages and nothing was missing given all the horror stories we have heard needless to say we were pleasantly surprised. All this, they did with a very positive attitude and a friendly manner. All in all, World Wide Van Lines made this highly stressful time easier for us. We highly recommend this company. Thank U more

We have moved 9 times in 28 years and this was by far the best experience we ever had. When Steve called us and went through an items list over the phone and what had to be packed, crated, etc. I knew we were in good hands. He was professional and did a great job in identifying items that needed special attention, \r The estimate was fair and we chose world wide van lines from a pool of three other companies. The crew arrived on time and the head man, Bill, was outstanding. We had two shipments one going to Boston shortly and the other going into storage for several weeks. The crew first tagged and packed what was going to Boston and removed those items first. Then then started on what had to go into storage and did a wonderful job organizing everything. Bill was the crew chief and he is the best I ever encountered. Nothing was too much for him or his crew and the two days of packing and moving came and went with no glitches. I wanted to write and thank you, Charles, Kevin, Wendy and everyone at World Wide Van Lines for being so helpful with our move to Hudson. On the night of the move the crew worked tirelessly late into the night with fine and friendly attitudes the whole way through. The tagging stickers they offered were helpful in organizing the transportation of our office furnishings. The price quoted to us was very inexpensive based on the service we received, and they never tried to increase it. Even when there were problems, and they had to come back to the new space, the price never increased. When our carpet was installed a few weeks after our move, World Wide Van Lines crew came back to help us move furniture around the office for the installation. This was done at no extra cost to the original quote of the move which was very surprising! Thank you so much. more

These are the words I would describe A pleasure to use world wide van lines , This was the best move ever...I am actually looking forward to my next move with world wide hopefull it wouln't be to soon; I could not be more pleased with the way this move went. The movers were very quick and very professional. The work was prompt and my valuables were well taken care of. The service was very satisfactory. These two persons that moved all the furniture, did an excellent job. They were good workers and polite. Movers worked very hard. I am without complaint. A special thank you to the customer service girls that saw us through the whole move along with the salesperson which was surprisingly friendly even after the sale happend.
