We received a $20 gift card in the mail, so thought we would check this place out. We ordered appetizers at $26 and their early bird dinners at $20 each. The food was just so-so, and our waitress was just annoying. When it came time to pay the bill, I gave her our gift card and my credit card. She stated that the gift card was not valid for the early bird dinners, and when I flipped it over, sure enough, that's what the fine print said. But we could use the gift card in the bar, she said. So after paying for our dinner with my credit card, we stopped in the bar on the way out for an after-dinner drink. This time I was smarter and showed the bartender our gift card before ordering. Sorry, he said, you couldn't use the gift card in the bar without ordering food also. Well, we walked out without ordering a drink, and gave our gift card to some people in the bar who looked like they were going to order food from the menus. The next day $2,000 in fraudulent purchases were charged to the card I had used the night before at the restaurant. Now I don't know who or when someone stole my credit card number, but that's just too much of a coincidence for me. And even if all of their employees are honest, the food and the service don't give me any reason to go back. Pros: Nice view of the bay Cons: Just about everything else.
