Review content:
At first I found the people at Atl Auto broker to be very pleasant and helpful. I test drove a car that was nothing like what I had described wanting but decided I liked it anyway. On the test drive I asked the salesman all the questions I could think that I should ask including ""Is there anything wrong with the car or anything I should know about this car?"" I was told ""No, it is in great condition."" So silly me I took them at their word. They gave me a good deal, even bringing it down some so that I could afford it. I drove it for 2 days and was really enjoying it but none the less I couldn't shake the thought that the sound I kept hearing just wasn't supposed to be there. Friends even kept telling me I was just being paranoid. I needed to take it to have emissions done so that we could finish up loan papers and took it to the place they recommended. Well... Pulling up the mechanic said it sounded like something was loose and i was very right that cars are not supposed to make that sound. Turned out it needed a new water pump. $400+! (Keep in mind this is 2 days off the lot) I brought the car back to the dealer who told me that they had not known about it and no they would not fix it. When I questioned if they had a mechanic on the lot who checked out their cars and was told yes, I suggested either they were ling to me or their mechanic was insufficient and they should get a new one. I was very clear that the only reason I bought this car was because I was guaranteed that it was in ""great shape"" and there was nothing that I needed to know about it. And that if they would not fix it I wanted my money back. The Guy with the very nice accent, I was told was in charge. told me that he would not refund my money that he was ""very happy with the deal that we had made."" Standing in complete shock at how I was now being treated I had resolved to leave and tell everyone how poorly I was treated. The salesman who had helped me originally told me to leave it with him and he would have their mechanics look at it to be sure that there was actually something wrong with it. This was only said after stating that they sold lemons and were crooked. Anyway the next day I was called and told that the water pump did in fact need to be replaced and that he would take care of it. When he dropped it off to me 2 days later I said how thankful I was that he stepped up and he let me know that he paid for it from his own pocket. I'm not sure but I do think that was intended to be a bit of a guilt trip. It didn't work. All it told me was that Atl Auto Brokers won't even step up when their own employees prove them wrong.
So with all this said Yes I got a car that I now love and was fixed for me at no additional cost. But!!!! I would also HIGHLY recommend that should you find a car at this dealer have it checked out by someone you trust BEFORE you sign ANYTHING!!! I was foolish and did not. Don't make my mistake because it probably will not go as well.
I only put a star because it would not let me leave it blank.
