I dine at Mudd?s several times a year. The food and atmosphere are almost always a treat. The menu includes a variety of salads, appetizers and entrees that make it a good spot for large or small gatherings. Dishes are presented thoughtfully with main course and sides selected to give the palate a satisfying taste experience. Tucked away in a quiet spot off a main traffic artery, sheltered by trees, and an adjoining garden, Mudd?s gives me a feeling of being away from the city at the edge of a forest. My wife and I enjoy strolling the gardens before and after dinner. Our last meal there was just the 2 of us. We shared a soft crab appetizer, salmon and a pork roast all done to perfection. Our waitress was delightful and very well informed. We always need help with the wine selection. Everything was brought to the table just as we were ready for it. That hasn?t always been our experience at Mudd?s, but I understand they?ve been focusing on service improvements and some changes in the kitchen are paying off. I highly recommend a visit to see for yourself.
