Review content:
The setting for Mudd's is wonderful as always. The new menu required explanation from the waitress. With the delightful garden associated with the restaurant it would have been lovely to have more vegetables on the menu - specifically a vegetable plate.\r
\r
The ravoli was sent back as the dough was undercooked and heavy. Further cooking eliminated the crunch but the dough was stil thick and tasted of flour.\r
\r
The crab cakes while generous in size where not particularly tasty. \r
\r
The pea soup was good and the tendrils of peas a delicious and visual treat.\r
\r
The chocolate cake for desert was disappointing. It was dry and tough. The carmel sauce seemed nonexistent. \r
\r
Overall we would not go back. Too bad as the setting is beautiful and they have the makings of a really fine restaurant.
Pros: Beautiful setting
Cons: For the most part the food was diasappointing
