I don't know what the guy that posted on 10/19/2008 was talking about. It could be that Amnesia is on Mississippi, not Milwaukee. Or it could be that their beer is great! Either way don't listen to him. Sounds like a guy who hates his life so he spends his time writing bad reviews for places that don't treat him like royalty. \r
Anyways......\r
This is my favorite place in Portland. It was the first Berger I had when I moved here and I have been going back for the past seven months. Their Copacetic IPA is by far my favorite IPA in Portland. The Desolation IPA is outstanding as well and many times my counterparts and I will debate over which one is better. Their other beers are also good and I was glad to hear that they have many beers brewing for the holidays. The outside patio is great and the inside is very cool as well. The atmosphere is very relaxed and happy. You order all food and drinks at the bar which I like, cause if you need a beer you can just go get one. They have one person grilling on a BBQ right next to the patio so all the food is grilled to perfection on the spot. You can imagine if 50 people ordered a hamburger that it might take one guy a little time to make them all. So sit back, relax and enjoy the beer you are drinking.
Pros: Beer, Patio, Pet Friendly
