Review content:
I was referred by Cub Cadet to an authorized service dealer for repairs to my riding mower. I thought it would be better for Mableton to keep the repairs local, and give the business to the mom/pop shop.\r Upon my initial visit, the owner was rude, bordering insulting. Repeatedly telling me that my riding mower (even though it competes head to head with John Deer) was nothing but a cheap MTD mower with a better name brand.\r I guess because of the hassle of trailering it to the shop, I decided to leave it for repairs, despite the attitude. \r Four days later he called with an estimate of $380 to replace a belt. I asked a couple questions about the repair, where he once again took every opportunity to belittle the equipment. He then asked me very aggressively if I wanted him to fix it. I responded telling him that I needed to look into warranty... then he cut me off yelling profanities. Again he aggressively wanted to know what the F.. hell I was doing with repairs. I asked when he would be able to begin work if I left it with him. He told me that he could probably get to it tomorrow. We hung up, I immediately called the authorized service dealer where I was quoted $85-$100. I called back Mableton Lawnmower and told him that I would be there to pick it up ASAP. He again began yelling profanities and said that he just started the repairs and it was too late. He told me to come pick-up my piece of shi. and that I had to pay in cash for what he had done. Obviously concerned that I might cancel a credit card transaction. \r As I pulled into his broken down establishment, he looked over at me and then disappeared, like a dirty insect when the lights are turned on. I asked his daughter (who told me that her dad was an a..hole) if I could speak with him. He would talk to me over the phone, but not in person. Once again, he began yelling profanities and insults. I must say that I expected as much. Big man over the phone, a wee-child in person. Pros: Absolutely zero! Cons: Rude, disrespectful and a scam artist...
