Review content:
Well I have been hesitant to right this over the past FEW YEARS LOL. Because, I consider this place to be a BIG LA secret. But it seems the word has gotten out to how good it is so here is my review. \r
\r
Unlike other sushi restaurants Matsudo never has a bad night, the sushi is always top notch. The sushi chef's are incredible and friendly, if your extremely lucky you will go on a night Hiro the owner is behind the counter but it?s not necessary. The staff is very friendly to everyone, and it is a no frills location, which is great. Sure the-hump is also excellent but its entirely different, the-hump is more about the atmosphere, I prefer Matsudo. It's not to pricey more expensive then some less expensive then others. Ninety Nine percent of the staff are Japanese, which in my opinion is a must as who knows sushi better. Saturday nights it has been very busy as of late. Seems like things can't stay secret forever, I?m willing to bet if the customers weren't so protective of this little haunt their would be MANY more reviews on the web. I was there last night and I'm tying myself home tonight, or else I?ll be there again. Definitely the best sushi in LA.
Pros: Incredible Sushi, Great Service.
