Review content:
I had the same experience as Joseph the great's review. I foolishly prepaid in Feb 2010 for materials to be used in the construction of my new home based on a neighbor who had dealt with the company. Nothing but stalls and broken promises months later when it came time to deliver the goods with weeks of advance notice by me. For example,I paid for Maibec double dipped shingles and received SBC single dip without explanation. Supposedly the Maibec shingles were set aside for me and price protected. In reality, I suspect he never had the shingles, lost his Maibec franchise and, after my threats to go to the police, supplied the SBC shingles. Gerry Wilcox always wants prepayment and I suspect he's staying afloat on customer's cash. It didn't work for Madoff and may not for Gerry.
To be fair, his prices are good but it's not worth the grief. If you must buy from GW, pay ony COD and expect lengthy delays.
