Review content:
Party rental prices are all more or less the same, this website was easiest to navigate, took three separate phone calls to get the entire process done, Ben was congenial, told us we couldn't order online, email what we wanted, an invoice and credit card form was emailed back, the young lady in the office said we could either fax back the credit card form or give her the cc info over the phone, all seemed fine if not a little low tech but ok no big deal, almost made them more down to earth. It wasn't a huge order, just under 300. for a dinner party, we had to ask twice when we'd get delivery for a Sunday event, Ben told us a few days before, the young lady told us the day before (which was preferable anyway). No one told us about pick up - I had to ask (seems like a logical question no?) the young lady didn't know if they were open on Columbus Day, gave us a pick up date of Monday or Tuesday. No one called to tell us when they were coming, I called on Monday, it was as if they were hearing it for the first time, the delivery people weren't in the area Monday, he'd have to call us about Tuesday. No one ever called. At the end of the week on Saturday morning, my husband called - at this point I was inclined to keep it all and wait for them to call us. My husband said it was annoying no one called but it wasn't our property so we should follow up. No good deed goes unpunished. Someone named Frank couldn't find our invoice - we'd fallen off their radar - said he'd call back in 5 minutes, didn't return the call, my husband calls back an hour later and is told ""I got your number ""Buddy"" - I said I'll call you back"" - and hung up on my husband, calls back, then wants to come that day between 1pm and 2pm - last minute, the response to my husband saying it was inconvenient and why didn't anyone call us all week? Frank retorted that HEas trying to do US a favor and we weren't really close to them and next time we should use a company that was closer... no one is just one thing so the pros: the delivery men were very nice, the folding chairs came in canvas bags packed in fours, the coffee urn was immaculate, glassware & plates, linens in fine condition. The office staff - the frontline was so poor either actively or by benign ignorance, we will not use this company again -
