Review content:
Had a long-winded post that Citysearch told me was too many characters long. Head over to Yelp if you want to hear about my horrendous experience in its entirety. In short, I wish I had read some of these reviews before I kept my appointment with Newton Wellesley Psych, where I had been referred by my PCP for anxiety. Mary Coakley was ignorant, condescending, flippant, and made me extremely self-conscious/uncomfortable for the duration of my visit. She ignored or belittled concerns that I brought up, especially regarding prescribing me daily medication (she said it was necessary for anxiety treatment) and a note I requested for an ""as-needed"" leave of absence from work (not necessary, as the Lexapro she prescribed would eliminate all traces of anxiety). I am seeking a second-opinion, and will not be returning to Newton Wellesley Psych.
