Businiess name:  Ram's Head Tavern
Review by:  citysearch c.
Review content:
Ram's Head is located in the quaint, artsy Savage Mill shopping center but location is probably the best thing about it. \r \r I ordered the seafood skewers, and it was pretty mediocre tasting. The scallops were mushy and pasty; I don't know if this means they were over or under cooked. I ended up bringing most of it home. As I was carrying it up to my apartment, I caught another whiff of it and realized it smelled exactly like roadkill-- that pungent, decaying, bitter smell near dead animals and garbage. Not very appetizing.\r \r My fiance's shrimp dish was better than mine but still not great. Her rice was pretty hard, like eating tiny rocks.\r \r Our server at Ram's Head was ""gruff"" to put it mildly. Sort of the ""so watcha want?"" kind of waitress you see at those tiny diners on tv. \r \r All in all, the food was lousy enough for me to not recommend Ram's Head. Pros: Ambience, nearby studios Cons: Food, service, prices
