Mr. Pinado,\r

Your post only further aggravates and frustrates the people that have to deal with Member Solutions. I for one have issues with many of the dishonest and misleading practices of the company, specifically with how things are worded in the contract itself. I am temporarily disabled due to a leg injury and provided Member Solutions with a copy of my diagnosis and also had my physician submit a form that I would be undergoing physical therapy for a short time and would be unable to use the facility in which I signed the contract. Sure enough I get a letter back saying that my claim for permanent disability was denied and that I'm still liable for the remaining amount on my contract. First of all, I NEVER SAID I WAS PERMANENTLY DISABLED. I tried to call the customer service number, but was disconnected several times. When I finally spoke with a representative, they told me that I cannot freeze my payments, only the time on my account. I asked where on my contract it says that and they told me that it is not printed on the contract and that they can only extend the terms of the agreement (as a ""courtesy"", which he kept on reminding me was something they don't even have to do). Why would I keep making payments for a facility that I cannot use due to my disability? I'm not even trying to get out of my contract, I just want to freeze it until my leg heals up and I'm cleared to train again. \r

Mr. Pinado, it is these dishonest and unethical practices that make people distrust your company. Instead of being upfront, honest, and transparent about the contract and everything it entails, you choose to use sneaky tactics and shady wording to trap people into commitments that they should never be getting into in the first place. You know that kids like to change interests quickly and prey on the parents by having them sign contracts that trap them in long-term commitments. The parents should make a better effort to comprehend what a contract means, but that doesn't change the unscrupulous conditions that are present on the contract. I guarantee you that if the terms were laid out as practically as possible (i.e. if your child decides they no longer want to attend this school after 2 months, you will still be liable for the duration of the contract), not even half of the customers would sign contracts and there wouldn't be any issues. \r

""Every Member Solutions team member undergoes rigorous training to handle customer calls and resolve outstanding issues in a courteous and professional manner and with the utmost care and sensitivity."" Seriously? I've spoken with several representatives and none of them were either competent or helpful.
