Summary: Highly recommend Newport Domestic Agency - competent, responsive and customer-focused staff that successfully helped me find an outstanding nanny.\r \r Details: (if you are a mom looking for a nanny...you probably want the details : )\r \r Several months after having my first child it was time for me to return to my job outside of the home. At first I tried to do a search on my own, spending countless hours on the numerous nanny web sites, but it was a total waste of my time (and what precious time before I had to go back to work). I never found anyone that I felt was qualified, not to mention I didn't have anyone that was ""referring"" them. \r \r Leaving a three month old with anyone was of course scary, but I received a referral from a friend who introduced me to Rocio and Newport Domestic Agency. I went to Rocio's office to explain what my needs were, and of course as a new mom, I wasn't sure myself. Rocio listened closely, but with her many years of experience she knew exactly what I was looking for in a nanny. She sent several perspective nannyies to my house to interview and I ultimately hired one. I really trusted Rocio to send me qualified, good nannies that would care dearly for my child. I am happy to report our nanny is OUTSTANDING and has been with us for about a year and a half....and I hope for many years to come. \r \r I have heard sooo many stories about people going through multiple nannies before finding the right one. With Rocio and her staff's assistance I was able to find a great fit for our family. \r \r Since hiring our nanny I have called their office on numerous occasions to seek advice (i.e., what are common practices on vacation, Christmas bonus, etc). Rocio, Maria and the rest of the staff are always extremely helpful and responsive. \r \r If you are looking for a nanny, I highly recommend Newport Domestic Agency. My only regret was wishing I would have contacted OC Nannies earlier and not wasted time at the beginning of my search.\r \r
