I'm a regular at Nami, and I can say that the service issues mentioned in other reviews have been solved. Nami is back to its old, excellent self. The servers are attentive and friendly.
Nami's sushi, as always, is fresh, prepared and presented as well as any you'll find in the Detroit area. But what really sets it apart is its creativity. Nami offers different specials every day, and their chef combines ingredients and flavors with a flair that shows his passion for food.
The only thing that could be improved is the Edemame. It's good, but doesn't seem quite as fresh as I've had elsewhere.
Nami also features an excellent, hand-selected list of Japanese micro-brews and Sake. It's a nice touch that sets Nami apart even more.
