Review content:
I now own my 2nd electric scooter from Currie. My first scooter gave me many years of riding and with the exception of having to only replace 1 flat tire, the only maintenance was replacing the battery a couple of times.
I now have upgraded to the Ezip 1000. It is very smooth, fast, and quiet. The front and rear suspension make a huge difference. The base of the scooter is higher of the ground than my previous scooter, so riding it while standing is not an option; must ride seateded. This is not a bid deal, however. I did have an issue with the rear wheel assembly making loud clicking noises after only 2 weeks of riding. Customer service sent parts, but I was unable to remove the existing ones. They eventually sent me an entire rear wheel assembly. I had to find an experienced mechanic, (the one Currie authorized to service the scooter was in another city and therefore not an option) to replace the rear wheel assembly. Even he had trouble removing the existing part. Eventually he succeeded and it is running well now. Customer service was helpful and were willing to refund my purchase, but that ended up not being necessary.
