Review content:
I had a bunion on my foot that was very painful. I knew I had to have surgery but was reluctant because of the pain and the time I would need to be off my feet ( I am a salon owner/stylist and a fitness instructor so all of my work depends on being on my feet.).
I went to see Dr. Etskovitz and he was very thorough about what my options were ( I actually needed surgery on both feet- one was worse than the other so we just did that one.)He educated me on what it involved. He took his time to answer all my questions so that I felt comfortable making my decision.
I had the surgery done at Newton Wellesley. Everything went smooth and he was there to make sure recovery went well too. I listened to what he said about taking time off ( Very impt. for proper healing! He is a great surgeon but can only have his work be 100% successful if you follow your care directions at home. ) It was tough to stay off my feet that long but worth it! You can barely see the scar and I feel great! It's the first time I found a doctor who has everything; knowledge, care and skill. Wish there were more out there!
