I used this company for one year and it is the worst experience that I have ever had with any company. I asked for my service to be canceled and the owner Glen Scrivens, had his workers take the trash out of the can and leave it in my drive way. I put a stop payment on the check and Glen called and left a voicemail, cursing me out and threated to ""come and deal with me on Chrismas Day"". He also sent me a letter indicating that ""He does not like to give service to black people"". He had my credit card number on file and charged the card without authorization. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS SERVICE TO MY WORST ENEMY. The bills sent are random, not itemized, and fees are made up at the convenience of the owner. The company is rude and unprofessional. The company does not have the equipment needed to dump the trash in the truck properly. A worker, has to hand pick the trash out of the cans. Get this... they are a trash service but will leave a ""nastygram"" on your front door if your trash is thrown directly in the trash bin and not packed neatly in a trash bag. In the threatening voicemail left for me, the owner indicated (and I quote), ""you have the nerve to leave all of that trash and $h*t for me to pick up"". Dude, that is your job!!!!\r

I am an graduate student about to embark upon my MBA degree. American Waste Disposal is a classic case study of how NOT to do business and why most businesses fail!\r

Also, please be aware that this company is changing names to SCRIVENS DISPOSAL. New name but probably the same poor service!
Cons: They are allowed to do business, poor service, poor behavior, rude, owner acts more like a thug instead of a businessman.
