I have used American Waste Disposal for more than five years. Recently, I switched to a competitor because a family member who lives at my address receives free pick up from another disposal service. I called AWD a couple of weeks ago to have them cancel my service and bill me for the balance. They did not pick up the can, which was full, even though I stated they could charge me for that pick up, too. \r
Today, the can was picked up and the two week old trash was dumped at the end of my driveway. I tried to call them and all I get is voicemail. It is near impossible to speak to a human at this company. If I littered, I could be charged with a misdemeanor. If you have a choice in your neighborhood, you should not choose to do business with American Waste Disposal. For them to be in the environmental business, it appears they don't respect our environment.
