Review content:
I used to live in Edina, where Imperial House is located, but have since moved out to downtown St. Paul. The food at this restaurant is so good that I have absolutely no problem making the 20-25 minute trip to pick up an order! This is by far my favorite restaurant, let alone chinese restaurant.\r \r The sesame chicken ($8.99) and lo mein ($7.25-8.75) seem to be universal favorites, in my experience, and the lunch buffet from 11am-2:30pm M-F cannot be beat at $6.57. \r \r The owners, who make up the complete staff (waitress, cook), are the most wonderful and friendly people I've ever met. They are eager to accommodate you with quick service and quality food. \r \r The only con I could possibly imagine is that the decor is less than appealing compared to other big restaurants, and the space is a bit small, but the delicious food will make you forget all about that. \r \r Bottom line: This is a great place with great food. It really deserves to be more than a neighborhood secret. Highly recommend. Pros: Excellent food at reasonable prices, service is wonderful Cons: restaurant is a bit small and not that flashy
