This is a good place but tends to be more flash than substance. The food is pretty good but nothing amazing and on the pricey side. The service is very spotty. It can be good (never great) but tends to be a little slow and inattentive. The best bet is to show up for an early or late lunch in the bar. The service is better and their bar food is as good as most. If you like alcoholic drinks try the ""Wet Woody"" - very good.\r

The atmosphere is nice. There's a beautiful view of Lake Tahoe. You can feel comfortable in jeans or slightly dressed up. It's an OK place for kids if they can take a slower paced meal. Parking is fine most of the time.
