My little one has been going to this daycare for sometime. First f/t & now only in the Summer. I was very sad to see Maggie & Brandi leave. They were caring & they both showed only love toward the kids. I had a run in with the new ""manager"" this past summer because I was 3 minutes late. I called ahead to let them her know I was caught in the middle of traffic & would be there as quickly as I could. I drive over an hour from work to Vilonia & didn't want my child riding that far incase I'm involved in a wreck I really don't want my child in it. I was charged a $ a minute, which I refused to pay since there were many times that my little one had to stay at home & I still had to pay for the full day. This was due to contracted illnesses due to them not enforcing the fever policy & because kids were allowed to return when they were still sick. I told them to just keep me a running tab & if I'm late deduct that money from the days that my child wasn't there due to sick children being allowed back in. They actually had a case of whooping cough & the kid was there 3 days before he was treated! The new owner of course tried to enforce the $ a minute policy but my question was-I pay you every wk on time & have for 4 years. I am not a complainer, nor have you ever had a problem w/my checks being good, but yet you will haggle me over 3 mins? Sounds to me like you don't need my money too bad. I do not have a problem w/the new director, but I do feel that she steps over her limits sometimes and into the parents area when she questions you about if you take your child to church. I bit my tongue, but felt as though this was totally out of line. Also, her kissing my child on the cheek or asking for a kiss is TOTALLY INAPPROPRIATE! I know that she is probably just showing love, but GERMS are GERMS & noone should be kissing my child but her family. \r One toliet didn't function for most of the year & had overflowed that morning. The kids were still kept in that room. Not mine.\r \r Pros: Miss Judy is the best thing this daycare has going for it--point blank! Cons: Sick kids allowed back in; unsanitary conditions witnessed & overbearing new management.
