After taking my English Mastiff to Dr. Neubauer about 9 months ago, I will never go anywhere else. My Mastiff had 2 torn ACL's and the emergency vets and other vets were pushing surgery on both knees - not only would it be extremely expensive, but also dangerous to but a 6 year giant breed dog under for surgery. Assuming the surgery would have been successful, she would have likely developed arthritis sooner than she would without surgery. Feeling completely torn on what to do, I took my dog to Dr. Neubauer. Never have I seen a doctor spend so much time not only assessing the problem, but also spending time explaining everything to me - pros, cons, reasoning behind his thoughts, and answering all of my million questions. He told me that it would be a process - a long process - but the best thing to do was to start with getting my dog on an all natural diet. Once we had her in the best health possible diet wise, we'd work on the ACL tears. Over the past 9 months, my dog has gone from being 160lbs of dead weight - unable to do anything but ""scoot"" to running around the yard at ease with my Great Dane. Twice a week visits to see Dr. Neubauer, the right food, the right combination of herbs and supplements, and of course, lots of TLC, have done wonders. I have since referred 5 friends to this practice who have also had wonderful success in treating their pets. I am so thankful to have found Dr. Neubauer and his wonderful staff - I will never take my pets anywhere else.
