We strongly believe in freedom of expression, even if a review contains unappealing or distasteful content or present negative viewpoints. We went to Danny's with friends that highly recommended it. I ordered ribs - I was almost done with the ribs when I noticed a steel staple sitting in the sauce on my ribs. I commented to the waiter regarding the staple and advised he might want to be sure it didn't happen to other customers that might not have noticed it (such as a child). He adivsed it could not happen because they did not use staples - well I didn't bring it with me and there it was! Upon checking out I mentioned it to the man behind the counter, who I think was the owner - he again stated it could not happen - no apology, no nothing! Needlessness to say I was quite put out and when I got home I wrote a letter to the company stating what had happend and how I was treated. I got no reply to my letter. In my way of thinking this is no way to run a business - I at least deserved a reply. My friends were embarrassed at the respond that I got and I will NEVER go there again and will NEVER recommend this restaurant to anyone I know. I appreciate the opportunity to express my disappointment in the handling of this situation.
