Review content:
This review does come with one caveat: I'm a semi-vegetarian, so barbecue places generally don't cater to me. I do eat fish, however, and these days that means I can find something that appeals to me in most restaurants. At Danny's, the catfish sandwich was the only entree option that meets my veggies and fish standards. It tasted okay, because the catfish was deep-fried and sandwiched between two pieces of heavily buttered Texas toast. Needless to say, I felt really unhealthy and lethargic after eating. Sometimes a completely unhealthy and indulgent meal is worth it, but this one wasn't tasty enough to warrant all the fat and calories. To top it off, the atmosphere is really strip-mall, and ""family."" All that said, the service is pretty good, and if you like filling up on loads of fried food, including lots of meat, you might enjoy it more than I did.
