Businiess name:  Scruffy Duck Full Service Car Wash

Review content:
I have used this car wash for years and never had any problems. As I see the other reviews, I notice that others have commented that the service has gone downhill. I don't think it's necessary to go into every golden detail, but suffice it to say that the other comments about the manager really made me think, especially after what I experienced recently. After I made a minor complaint as other patrons have done (while at the same time asking for NOTHING in return, noting what a good car wash I thought I received, and confirming that I would continue to be a customer despite my complaint), the manager offered me a free wash ""next time I came in,"" no time limit. I thought this was very nice. When I did come in (I go in about once a month for a full clean, though I went a bit longer this time as it has rained continually for several weeks), I brought the email with me as I felt he might not remember me. I greeted him with a smile and reminded him of our conversation. Basically, he grudgingly told me that they'd take care of it, whilst berating me for waiting too long, and giving me chapter and verse of what I'd done wrong that contributed to the problem. I tried to remind him of what we had actually discussed (since much of what he was saying to me was either irrelevant to my situation, or had already been addressed), and frankly he seemed fixated on one small micro-detail from the email and couldn't seem to get past that, but mostly I was just shocked that he was upset with me for taking him up on HIS unsolicited offer of a free wash to make things right. I mean, you tell someone hey, come on in and get a free wash, and then get upset when they do? I thought maybe he was just having a bad day, but now I wonder. And I had a problem following THIS wash, which again was minor (a missing item from the exterior of my car) -- I could not have been nicer when I asked if they could look for the missing item, and left my number so they could look later in the day when business slowed down, but I didn't hear back. Maybe I still will, but somehow I feel I won't. It was just weird to me. Another reviewer noted how he made a minor complaint, asking for nothing, saying that if it were his business he'd just want to know, and that he was similarly treated. I had given the benefit of the doubt and thought maybe he was just having a bad day, but now I wonder. Pros: Most employees very nice Cons: Moody manager, service has gone downhill
