It is sad that when you live in the country this is the best we can do for medical care. I wonder if they are now teaching Doctor's to insult patients instead of showing compassion and listening to their concerns. If we polled 10 liscenced personell in the hospitol setting about a temp of 104, they would also be concerned. No it probably wouln't cause pemanent damage, but it could lead to a seizure. We also still take AX. temps for those patients who just had something cold to drink or have oral impairments. If you need to kow allergies of a previos patient they should already be on their chart. How long have we been using cool compresses on patients foreheads to help with fevers? Pros: Only urgent care in Angier Cons: MD doesn't listen, and is stuck on herself
