Review content:
I enjoyed going to Sol Fire for their Breakfast Burrito several times until the last time I went. The service has always been spotty, often with one waiter covering the whole dining room for brunch, although mostly tolerable it just meant a longer wait for drinks, or service. \r \r This last time I went to get brunch was the worst brunch experience I have ever had anywhere. Again, one waiter taking care of the whole dining room. We waited nearly a half-hour for a cup of coffee. We were asked what we wanted to eat nearly 45 minutes after sitting down while the waiter ran between tables. We ordered the usual Breakfast Burrito - as Ovo-Lacto vegetarians the menu lists beans, eggs, cheese and tomato. We received our food (with no refills to water or coffee) and had to get up and collect our own salt and pepper from the waiters station. After eating more then half of our meals, we realized that there was chunks of pork in the burrito, which had never happened before and was not listed on the menu. \r \r Upon bringing up our concern with the waiter, he told us he would not do anything about it. He claimed, we should have asked what was in the burrito because the pork was a seasoning which the chefs change when they want. We were so livid about having eaten pork after being vegetarians for over 6 years, we demanded a refund. Our demand was met with arguments that the menu item was not marked as vegetarian (well of course not - there is eggs and cheese in it!). The waiter had a very sour attitude and refused to do anything for us. I even offered to pay for half of the meal. We had to threaten never to return and walk out before the other employee overheard and offered to take care of removing the items from the bill. We were never asked if we would like something else, wanted more coffee or water or anything. We also never received the drinks we ordered. We got an apology later from the waiter for ""causing a conflict"" but this isn't enough to get me to return again.
