Review content:
Experience the natural wonders in Portland's ""back yard""! This was my first overnight cruise and Captain Shane's attentiveness and humor made the trip very enjoyable. My favorite leg was winding down the Multnomah Channel where we saw osprey nesting and we also stopped to explore some islands. We moored for the evening at St. Helen's historic waterfront and had dinner at a wonderful Mediterranean restaurant called the Klondike. As we settled into our bunks for the night, Scovare gently rocked us to sleepa perk that doesnt cost anything extra. The next day, sailing was wonderful when mother nature was cooperating! You can learn a thing or three while helping to rig and fly the spinnaker and then take in the scenery as you're being silently propelled by every wisp of wind. When you work up your appetite again, Shane can grill a really mean salmon steak that hits the spot!
Pros: Mother Nature, Great fun, Educational
