I started going to this clinic (the downtown KCK location) a few years ago when I lost my insurance, and continue to visit them for routine care because the prices are reasonable, and I like the people and their mission. I appreciate the fact that they do so much international work as well as helping the under-served people of Kansas City. I'm surprised by the negative review below, because all of my experiences the past few years have led me to believe this is a friendly, well-run organization that clearly tries to follow Christian values.
I also attended a friend’s birth at the Birth Center and was impressed by the care given to her by the medical staff, and the comfortable and homey atmosphere. I've recommended this clinic to several people, and I have a social worker friend who is now referring clients as well, based on positive feedback.
Pros: Affordable for the uninsured
Cons: Phone sometimes busy, but leave a msg & they'll call you
