My girlfriend and i live downtown so we normally go to Surin and occasionally the Sekisui in Five Points to have sushi. After eating at the Sekisui in Vestavia, we'll probably only go there for sushi from now on. It was the best sushi we've had in Birmingham. The server was excellent. He either genuinely enjoys his job, was having a good day, or he's a great actor. We also went there with a coupon from Restaurant dot com and we had not problem using it. The atmosphere was great too. I can't think of a single negative comment to say about our dining experience there. We loved it, and we'll definitely be back!
