I normally don't leave reviews, but just had brunch and had such awful service I wanted to let other people know. Showed up for brunch and took us forever to get menus, forever for our order to be taken, then the waiter forgot my coffee and didn't show back up for 10 minutes to be reminded, and when he brought the food he let me sit for 10 more minutes before coming back and realizing that I didn't have any silverware. When my friend produced a gift certificate he gave us attitude. At this point we started giving attitude back, and he called us ""dicks."" The food is mediocre, the location is difficult, and with service like this, there's no reason to go to The View. Especially if you get the asian guy waiter. I am never going back, there are too many other good restaurants in uptown.
