Pizza King opened 40+ years ago on Whitaker Way and moved to its current Main Street location in the early 1970s. It is a small carryout and delivery only shop. The pizza is square cut with fresh handmade sauce and crust. The sauce has a fresh crisp taste of spices, garlic, and tomatoes and contains chunks of tomatoes. The cheese is a delicious blend of mozzarella, provolone, and parmesan. The crust is fresh and varies in thickness from thin to medium. Pizza King pizza is available by the slice or by 16 piece whole pie. The price is very reasonable. Because the components are made in house there is some variation in flavor and texture at times. My family has enjoyed Pizza King for many years. Each time I return to Munhall to visit, I try to pick up a pizza from Pizza King.
