First of, I'm stunned at the reviews I have read here. I recommend Dr. Horan to everyone I can. He is a cutter that tries NOT to cut. To often, Ortho's simply want to cut first and ask questions later. Dr. Horan is not that type of doctor. I have knee and shoulder issues. He is through, spends time with me when he needs to and has his PA or NPN handle other cases. His office staff has always been friendly and competent. I agree it takes time to get an appointment, but if you want to go to a doctor that can fit you in tomorrow, they are either not very good or will spend 1 minute ignoring you anyway. Back doctors are different than general orthos so the reviews that question the specialist are off the mark. I drive 20 miles after I moved to Pinellas to their Westchase office as they are the best Ortho I have ever found. Good luck in your search and with your issues.
