My boyfriend and I really enjoyed this tour! Our guide was Jay and he was very friendly and knowledgeable. He took us to some spots that aren't as well traveled by other guides which was really cool. He also didn't make us feel like we were being chaperoned (which some controlling guides can do) and instead gave us plenty of time for each spot to take pictures and do what we liked. In fact, we considered leaving the group for a while to hike a path we were really interested in and he offered to pick us up in a few hours but we decided against it.
A few points of improvement would be to skip the gardens, maybe the chocolate factory and maybe one of the initial stops amongst the lava rocks (there were a good amount) to shorten the day a bit (it did get quite long, but we knew that going into it). The restaurant for lunch wasn't great but wasn't a big deal. And we were a little bummed we didn't get to see flowing lava but that's not really something that Discover can control-instead we got to see the glowing lava from a distance at night which was beautiful. All VERY small things but maybe a note for the future. All in all this was a great tour, great company, and I would highly recommend it for others!
