Review content:
As a frequent flyer of the mental health system, I found South Bay to have less than acceptable services. My therapist was nice but frequently completed her paperwork during the session which I found distracting and unprofessional. I suffer from Bipolar Disorder and wound up in a full blown manic episode because I couldn't see the psychiatrist when I needed to. I could have just had my medication increased but instead I wound up in the psych ward because I thought I could fly. How much training do the clinicians get if I was talking about flying from my third story window and no one had me seen by the psychiatrist??? Luckily the police found me hanging out of the window and brought me to the psych ward. Word of caution- Don't use South Bay Mental Health, go to your local vet instead.
