I'm not a tall person, and I had come to accept that the bottoms of my pants would always need to be hemmed in a depressingly little-girl kind of way. BUT, a few weeks ago, I got some jeans with really interesting bottom hems and I did not want to give them up. After reading good reviews, I brought them in to Jack's and he did a fantastic job of shortening them, but keeping the original hems. I'm impressed, because I had always been told that this is a difficult sewing job and others asked a lot more money for it, which is why I had never tried it before. AND he prepared it in only 24 hours, because I was going on vacation. Bravo! He'll be seeing a lot more of my pants in the future!
Pros: Great customer service, great results
Cons: Location on Mass Ave in Porter is convenient, but parking can be difficult in that area.
